List 5 things about this career that you find appealing.
1. I get to present new ideas about casts
2. I get to advise people which cast they should use
3. I love to read the scripts for different plays.
4. I get to keep record of the people who have auditioned for the part.
5. I get to listen to the read-through of the script by the cast.
What is the Skills Score that appears beside the career you selected?
Look through you responses to the skills that are important for this career and add up the number of responses of each type:
__1___I am highly skilled
___6__I am skilled
___6__I have some skill
___0__I don't have this skill
Write down the three skills to which you answered "I don't have this skill" or "I have some skill." For each skill you wrote down, think of three ways that you can increase your skill.
1. Planning- I could think of ways to make the plans I have a little better and more appealing.
2. Evaluating- I shouldn't judge people just by the way that they present something.
3. Presenting Ideas and Information in Writing- I shouldn't get so nervous when I present something to a important person.
Are your still interested in the career you selected for this activity? Why or why not?
Yes because I get to work with the theatre or acting group. I also get to be involved with movies or tv shows.
What do you think the difference is between interests and skills?
Interests are what you are interested in and your skills are what you are good at. What you think you can do good in.
Do you think it is helpful to consider your skills when choosing a career? Why or why not?
Yes because if you can't do a certain job or skill. Say you don't work good with computers and you want to be a computer game designer, you won't be able to do it because you do not work good with the computer.
